Joan had to act tough

DAME Joan Collins this week talked about the ‘unwanted advances and nasty passes’ she faced from men when she started her career in Hollywood in the 1950s.

For all those who say some women just aren’t tough enough to combat such approaches, I hope they bear in mind that even Dame Joan, the feistiest of women, wasn’t immune.
