FANCY MAKING YOUR OWN?

-

SIMPLE and quick to do, you can tweak the ingredients to create a recipe that suits your taste, whether that’s upping the alcohol or dialling down the sweetness. You’ll need: 250ml single cream 1x 397g tin condensed milk 350ml Irish whiskey 1 tsp coffee essence 3 tsp chocolate sauce 1 tsp vanilla essence 1 tsp almond essence (opt) STICK everything into a blender and whizz it up until it’s all mixed together (about 30 seconds should do it).

Then pour the liquid into sterilised bottles (you can do this by running them through the dishwasher on a hot wash first) and store them in the fridge. This will keep for a couple of months and they make great presents for Irish cream-loving friends. If you can bear to part with them in the first place, of course!
