Limiting threat of Stewart is key for Curran

- BRIAN MARJORIBANKS

DUNDEE midfielder Jesse Curran believes keeping Greg Stewart quiet today is the key to securing success against Kilmarnock. Stewart made a name for himself at Dens Park before signing for Birmingham City and has scored seven goals in 12 games for the Rugby Park side during his season-long loan. Curran believes stopping the 28-year-old will be vital if Jim McIntyre’s side are to extend their unbeaten four-game run. He said: ‘Greg is the one to watch. You have to be aware of him all the time. He can produce a bit of magic at any time, so you have to look after him. ‘You always try to keep him off his left foot but somehow he finds a way to get on to it and then he’ll put the ball in the top corner. ‘It will be good to see him again. But we will be playing for our own teams and that’s all we will be thinking about.’
