SATURDAY, DECEMBER 29 Glasgow v Edinburgh, Scotstoun, Pro14. Scotstoun has become a fortress of late and Dave Rennie will be out for blood. Could be a classic. SATURDAY, JANUARY 5 Edinburgh v Southern Kings, Murrayfield, Pro14. A chance for Cockerill to rest some of his pack and recuperate before they head to French giants Toulon. SATURDAY, JANUARY 5 Bennetton v Glasgow, Scotstoun, Pro14. A game where Rennie will likely ring the changes. SATURDAY, JANUARY 12 Toulon v Edinburgh, Stade Felix-Mayol, European Champions Cup. This is a mammoth task but Edinburgh’s recent triumph at Newcastle shows they can win away when necessary. SUNDAY, JANUARY 13 Glasgow v Cardiff Blues, Scotstoun, European Champions Cup. Glasgow dispatched Cardiff in the away fixture, but the Welsh side has shown much improvement since. FRIDAY, JANUARY 18 Edinburgh v Montpellier, Murrayfield, European Champions Cup. A big win here will likely see them through to the knock out stages. SATURDAY, JANUARY 19 Saracens v Glasgow, Allianz Park, European Champions Cup. A win could see them top the group. A loss could leave their qualification to fate.
