McCann in the running for vacant Carlisle job
NEIL McCANN has emerged as a candidate to take over at English League Two outfit Carlisle United. The Brunton Park club are looking for a new manager after John sheridan left for Chesterfield. Budget constraints were cited as a reason for sheridan’s departure but McCann, 44, has experience working on limited resources at Dundee. The former scotland winger also has coaching experience from Dunfermline. Former Liverpool Ladies and Leeds United coach Neil Redfearn is also in the frame.
