Sadie’s little sister shows off sparkler

DESPITE two divorces, from actor Jude Law and Spandau Ballet’s Gary Kemp, Sadie Frost still believes in marriage.

So the actress is delighted that her sister, former Casualty star Holly Davidson, has got engaged to fashion photographer Sebastian Roos, 42 .

Holly, 38, who is now a bestselling author of fitness books, is pictured showing off her sparkler. ‘It’s all very exciting,’ Sadie tells me at the Gold Movie Awards. ‘For Holly and her partner, it was love at first sight.’

Sadie, who is courting charity boss Darren Strowger, adds: ‘I don’t really see myself getting married again. I’m really happy with the way things are.’

LATE construction heir Sir William McAlpine, saviour of The Flying Scotsman, was remembered in grand style yesterday. His widow, Judy, organised for the train, which he bought for £25,000 in 1973, to take VIPs including BBC boss Lord Hall and former Reading FC owner Sir John Madejski to the National Railway Museum in York for a ceremony at which an engine was named after the businessman.
