HMV deadline

BIDDERS interested in embattled music shop HMV will have until tomorrow to table their offers.

KPMG, HMV Retail’s administrator, has set a deadline of January 15 for interested parties.

HMV fell into administration in 2013 and was bought by vulture fund Hilco for £50m. It fell into administration for a second time after Christmas, putting around 2,200 jobs at risk. KPMG declined to comment.
