SHE’S had more endorsement deals than she’s had Number One hits. So it’s no surprise pop star Rita Ora has landed yet another lucrative fashion campaign as the new face of high-end German brand, Escada. The British singer, 28, said to be worth £16million, has been appointed the label’s new brand ambassador and stars in a new spring/summer 2019 campaign. Miss Ora poses in bold-print jackets, slogan bags, satin two-pieces and pin-stripe suits in the campaign images. ‘I’m so excited and honoured to be the new face of ESCADA for their #EscadaSS19 campaign. It’s all about strong colours, strong messages and strong women,’ Miss Ora wrote on Instagram.

In the six years between her 2012 debut record Ora and last year’s Phoenix, locked in a battle with Jay Z’s label Roc Nation over her music contract, the star decided to make money elsewhere. After featuring in an ad for Skullcandy headphones in 2010, she appeared in two Calvin Klein campaigns and endorsed Italian shoe brand Superga in 2013. Madonna also booked her to front her Material Girl line and Rimmel teamed up for a make-up project. In 2014 Donna Karan made her the face of two collections and a DKNY scent, after which she starred in ads for Marks & Spencer, Adidas and fashion house Roberto Cavalli.

She is said to have made £1million promoting Coca-Cola Zero in 2016 and Samsung’s Galaxy S6. This year, she will work for Italian footwear designer, Giuseppe Zanotti. Miss Ora was named 11th richest British musician under 30 in last year’s Sunday Times Rich List.
