I AM delighted that the Duchess of Sussex wants to dispense with the men in suits when she gives birth and refuses to appear on the steps of a hospital to show off her newborn baby to the world’s Press.

As she has made clear through her supporters, this is ‘her’ baby and it is for her to decide where and how it is brought into the world. Bravo, I say.

However, she will have to go the whole hog and eschew all titles and honours for her child.
