No place for negativity
NICOLA Sturgeon makes it abundantly clear that she does not like Boris Johnson. He is pro-uk, pro-Brexit, and very positive — the opposite of our first Minister, who on a daily basis makes clear she is anti-uk, pro-Brussels and very much against any suggestion that Scotland has a positive place in the uk.
at the same time, Nicola Sturgeon wants us to believe that any problems in Scotland, from education to health, from poverty to the misuse of drugs, are all somehow the fault of the uk Government, and will be magically resolved if we separate from the uk.
Since the 2014 independence referendum, the SNP’s public face has become dominated by blaming others and strident criticism of those who do not agree with them.
If the uk’s new Prime Minister can consistently portray a more positive vision of a future in the uk, Scotland could find the SNP’s negative tone increasingly off-putting.
