SCOTTISH FALSETTO SOCK PUPPET THEATRE: ROLL UP

THIS is the Socks’ 11th Fringe show but not their best. Combining variety, music hall and circus should have made this a winner but, despite trying to shoehorn Nicole Kidman, a serial killer and a movie mix-up of The Greatest Show on Earth/The Greatest Story Ever Told into events, there are too many dips, and even the musical numbers don’t hit their usual sweet spot.
