LAST WEEK’S ANSWER

THE answer to our first week’s Royal Treasure Hunt was ‘GOLDEN HIND’.

In the original picture and story published in Weekend magazine on August 10, there was panic spreading among the Beefeaters at the Tower of London because one of the keys to the Jewel House was missing.

It turned out that one of the Tower’s famous ravens had flown off with it, to sit high up in the rigging of the Golden Hind, anchored on the Thames just beside the Tower.

Look closely at the picture in Weekend magazine, and you’ll see him perched in the crow’s nest of the ship.
