Is Jennifer at 50 still fab enough for Hollywood?

-

ACTRESS Jennifer aniston claims she doesn’t feel any different after turning 50 (Mail).

But she must have noticed that hollywood is not treating her in the same way it did five or ten years ago. Like Julia Roberts, Goldie hawn and Doris Day before her, she has been unable to retain her crown as the queen of romantic comedy.

Jennifer used to make two films each year, but now makes only one. No matter how good an actress looks, widespread ageism in the film business still obliges female stars to change direction when they hit their 40s and 50s.

Jennifer is back on tV playing a daytime tV presenter in the Morning Show. She has stated she would be happy to take part in a revival of Friends, the tV series that made her famous.

this could be her best option for sustaining her fame over the next decade. It may be a comedown from hollywood movies, but that’s showbusiness. NANCIE RUTHERFORD,

JENNIFER ANISTON has turned 50 and says she feels ‘physically incredible’. She certainly looks it.

But she is a woman with, as far as we know, no physical or emotional issues, illnesses or diseases. She is financially capable of colouring the hair she says she fears going grey and having the necessary nips and tucks to maintain her looks.

She has the time and wherewithal to maintain her physique, practise relaxation techniques and enjoy frequent holidays.

Good luck to her, but let’s remind ourselves she is no ordinary 50-year-old.
