CLUJ CLASH IS PERSONAL, INSISTS BROWN

SCOTT BROWN admits he’s on a personal mission to avenge Celtic’s Champions League qualifying nightmare against Cluj this week. And he says the Romanians will see the real Hoops turn up in Thursday’s Europa League clash at Celtic Park. Parkhead skipper Brown, who had a moment of madness in conceding a penalty for handball as Neil Lennon’s men were beaten 4-3 in Glasgow last month, admits he is rubbing his hands in anticipati­on of this week’s rematch. ‘We owe them one, to be perfectly honest — and especially me,’ he said. ‘In the last match, I gave away a penalty for handball — and that is just not like me. It was just one of those freak things that happened. ‘Every game is personal for me. I want to win every single game and I always believe I can do better. ‘Their win at our place adds a wee bit extra to the game. They got the better of us — so we want to put the record straight. We didn’t perform the way we should last time. That’s what we want to put right this time. ‘We played really well over there and got a good result (a 1-1 draw in the first leg).
