Stress claims at blaze art school
ONE in three staff at the fire-ravaged Glasgow School of Art feel they are ‘unduly stressed’ at work.
And a leaked survey, which was ordered by school bosses, suggests that one in eight workers feel they are being harassed or bullied.
One senior member of staff said: ‘The relationship between senior management and the staff has been toxic on all levels for a long time.’
The report follows an exodus of 70 staff since a second fire last year devastated the building, designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
A school spokesman said: ‘It is unfortunate that the results of the staff survey have been shared before they have been shared with our staff.’
