RICK STEIN’S SECRET FRANCE, 9PM, BBC2

RICK STEIN enjoys the food high life for his latest culinary road trip. He will be ‘meandering’ his way to Provence in the south-east of France, seeking out eateries that are off the beaten track, hopeful that his taste buds will be surprised and tantalised. Starting in Dieppe, on the Normandy coast, Rick (pictured) wastes no time in finding delicious fish dishes and, while it’s fun to watch Rick getting excited about what he eats (and drinks), he also shares historical vignettes on the places he visits, plays boules with local chefs, and shows us how to whip up delicious regional dishes.
