Bat­tle buses at dawn! Lib Dems tar­get Raab

THE Lib Dems claimed yes­ter­day they could un­seat For­eign Sec­re­tary Do­minic Raab.

A Sur­va­tion poll for the party gives it 36 per cent of the vote share in Esher and Wal­ton (up 19 points) just nine points be­hind the Tories on 45 per cent (down 14 points), knock­ing Labour in third place at 11 per cent (down nine points). Brex­i­teer Mr Raab has a ma­jor­ity of 23,298 votes. But 58 per cent of the con­stituency voted Re­main in 2016.

Yes­ter­day, Lib Dem leader Jo Swin­son vis­ited Mon­ica Hard­ing, her can­di­date in the Sur­rey con­stituency, show­ing off the bat­tle bus on which she will tour the coun­try for the next five weeks.
