AFTER ten days, competition is reaching boiling point in the heat of the I’m A Celebrity camp.

But while the girls were yesterday battling it out to show off their best bikini bodies and enjoying good-natured chat, the boys were embroiled in a right old rumble in the jungle.

Last night’s episode of the ITV show saw all the campmates don their swimwear to soak up some sun.

Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway, 52, took the plunge with a daring blue swimsuit, while former EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa, 27, and Girls Aloud’s Nadine Coyle, 34, opted for more revealing bikinis.

However, while the girls seem quite relaxed in each other’s company, the boys are anything but.

Tensions are rising – and no surprise given the lack of food, sleepless nights and big personalities.

Sports stars Ian Wright and James Haskell have had a string of bust-ups with their campmates and viewers are already beginning to bandy about the ‘bully’ word.

Former Arsenal footballer Wright and comedian Andrew Maxwell have clashed on more than a few occasions with some fans claiming Wright is being spiky and harsh.

The 56-year-old accused Maxwell of not being ‘cut out for success’ on Tuesday’s episode after the comedian celebrated a triumphant bushtucker trial by having a nap instead of cleaning up.

Maxwell, 44, retired to his hammock, leaving 70-year-old Caitlyn Jenner to do the dishes. The decision infuriated Wright, who said: ‘It’s amazing, some people are just not cut out for success.

‘Don’t go and rest, just kick on and do your job.’ Wright later told his campmates: ‘I’m having to hold myself in now. It’s as well I’m not the leader because this wouldn’t be happening.

‘We are grateful for the ten stars but at the same time you can’t get the stars and clock off or there would be anarchy. I don’t know how I’m going to let this lie. If this was in our football team you can’t see someone clock off because they’ve done a fantastic thing.’

Wright confronted the comic about his decision to sleep and not help out, with Maxwell backing down saying: ‘I’ll just do them when she wants to do them in future, no bother my end.’

Last night the pair were squabbling again in a row over when to eat beans. One viewer wrote on Twitter: ‘I think Ian just doesn’t like Andrew and would use any reason to give out to him.’

In Sunday night’s episode Maxwell also attacked Wright for shouting at him. Elsewhere, viewers have accused former England rugby star Haskell of being ‘arrogant’.

The 34-year-old, who has spent the last week being camp leader, has come under fire from fans who say the position has ‘gone to his head’ after the way he has spoken to fellow campmates.

In Tuesday night’s episode, he snapped at Coronation Street actor Andrew Whyment for asking about the roast dinner which he missed out on. He has also clashed with Kate Garraway.

One viewer wrote on social media: ‘Decided I don’t like James. Arrogant. Camp leader has gone to his head.’

Others suggested that Wright’s behaviour amounted to ‘bullying’. Ama Thomas-Castle tweeted: ‘Ian Wright is a bully. Used to like him but seeing what he is really like. Bullying is not acceptable.’
