Chef’s head trauma

Scottish Daily Mail - - The Brexmas Election -

THE chef is said to have died from a bleed on the brain – 40 years after a road accident left him with serious head injuries.

Called a subdural haematoma, the condition occurs when blood vessels in the space between the skull and brain become damaged. Symptoms include a headache and loss of consciousness.

The cause is usually trauma such as a fall or car crash. After Gary Rhodes was hit by a van at 19, doctors warned of the risk of further injuries.
