■ SOFT­WARE de­vel­oper Simigon surged af­ter it won a £1.4m con­tract to de­sign a vir­tual train­ing pro­gram for Is­raeli Air Force tech­ni­cians.

The 18-month con­tract will teach the trainees how to main­tain and re­pair C-130 mil­i­tary air­craft. This is a Lock­heed Martin-made mil­i­tary trans­port plane which can be used for cargo, air drops, med­i­cal evac­u­a­tion and mov­ing troops.

Simigon shares climbed 9.7pc, or 0.75p, to 8.5p.
