Witness: I saw duke with teen in Tramp nightclub
A BOMBsHELL new witness has come forward to accuse Prince Andrew of lying over his relationship with alleged sex slave Virginia Roberts, it was revealed yesterday.
the British woman told lawyers she saw the Duke of York at a London nightclub with the 17yearold in 2001, just hours before Miss Roberts claims she was forced to have sex with him.
the woman, who has not been named, was said to have given a ‘credible’ account and wants to speak to scotland Yard and the FBI in the Us.
she contacted lawyers last week after seeing Andrew’s disastrous BBC Newsnight interview, in which he denied he was in tramp nightclub with the teenager and insisted he had no memory of ever meeting her. If true, her evidence would support Miss Roberts’ account of their first night together and could derail the prince’s repeated denials.
On Monday night, Miss Roberts, a 35yearold married mother of three, told the BBC she was ‘grossed out’ by dancing with the sweatsoaked royal and felt sick when she realised she was expected to have sex with him at the age of 17.
the sobbing woman said she was ‘abused by a member of the Royal Family’ and was left feeling ‘horrified and ashamed’.
Lawyers for Miss Roberts and other women who say they were abused by paedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein have renewed their calls for the Duke of York to volunteer to speak to the FBI.
they claim the prince – a frequent visitor to Epstein’s homes in New York and the Caribbean – witnessed young women giving massages to the tycoon and other guests.
Lawyers for the women are ready to serve subpoenas on Andrew if he steps foot in the Us, which would force him into the witness box. Lisa Bloom, who represents five of Epstein’s alleged victims, said she had spoken to the new witness who claimed to have seen Andrew in tramp in 2001.
she said the woman was not connected to the Epstein case and had no financial motive for coming forward.
she told the Daily Mail the unnamed woman was angered after seeing Andrew’s Newsnight interview because she remembered seeing him with Miss Roberts in the Mayfair club. Miss Bloom said: ‘she was in the nightclub when Prince Andrew was pointed out to her and she was very struck by that as she had never seen a royal before. she remembers it very clearly.
‘she was offended when she saw his interview, when he said he never met Virginia, because she remembers seeing them.’
Miss Bloom said the woman remembered seeing Miss Roberts in tramp because she looked ‘very serious and sombre’, whereas Andrew was smiling and ‘very happy’.
Donald trump denied he knew Prince Andrew yesterday – despite having met him during a state visit in June.
During a Nato press conference in London, the Us President was asked about the Duke of York and the Epstein scandal. He replied: ‘I don’t know Prince Andrew, but it’s a tough story, it’s a very tough story.’
