HSBC ends its £175 switch of­fer

ThE last bank to of­fer cus­tomers a three­fig­ure sum if they switch to one of its cur­rent ac­counts has axed the deal.

hSBC closed its £175 of­fer to those who switch to ei­ther its hSBC Ad­vance or hSBC Premier bank ac­counts on Mon­day night.

This time last month, there were four ac­counts of­fer­ing more than £100 for switch­ing — now there are none. The big­gest cash of­fer is now pro­vided by First Direct at £50.

M&S Bank, also part of hSBC, still of­fers £180 in M&S gift vouch­ers if you switch and stay for 12 months. NatWest and RBS had of­fered £150, while Lloyds Bank had of­fered £125 to switch to its Club Lloyds ac­count. m.dil­[email protected]­ly­mail.co.uk
