PHOTOBOMB ROD SPICES UP GERI SNAP
HE is as famed for his wicked sense of humour as he is for his chart-topping music.
Now Sir Rod Stewart has been snapped ‘photobombing’ former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell and her Formula One racing boss husband Christian Horner.
The Sailing singer was among the A-list stars attending an event for the Princes Trust at Kensington Palace earlier this week.
Appearing in between Miss Halliwell and Horner, who were posing for a photo together, Sir Rod is seen looking up to the ceiling and pulling a bizarre grin. The comical snap was shared by Miss Halliwell on social media along with other images of the night.
Sir Rod was joined at the event by his wife, Penny Lancaster, and celebrities including TV presenter Holly Willoughby and producer Sally Wood, wife of Rolling Stones musician Ronnie Wood.
In a clip posted by Miss Halliwell, Sir Rod was seen dancing and enjoying himself with Mr Horner, principal of the Red Bull Racing Formula One Team. She also posted a group image, captioned: ‘Fun night.’ Last month, Sir Rod disclosed that he celebrated his 75th birthday with a new knee.
Miss Lancaster posted a photograph on Instagram, saying he was doing well after undergoing surgery in January, adding: ‘So well that the naughty boy keeps trying to walk without his crutches.’
The father of eight, who has sons Alastair and Aiden with Miss Lancaster, posted a video on his own Instagram account, taken before his op, showing him practising dance moves to promote a North American tour.
