NEW TV SERVICE Disney+ Launch,

THE biggest series on Disney’s new streaming service is the Star Wars sci-fi western The Mandaloria­n, starring Game Of Thrones’ Pedro Pascal as the bounty hunter (pictured) with a sad past and an honourable present. Disney+ can be watched through the app on Apple and Android devices as well as Chromecast, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Xbox One, PS4 and certain smart TVs. Those with Sky Q and Now TV will also be able to access Disney+ as a separate subscripti­on. It costs £5.99 a month.

AND THE WINNER IS . . . Portrait Artist Of The Year 2020, 8pm, Sky Arts

IN the final of Sky’s polished contest, the artists gather to paint poet and author Lemn Sissay, before the winner claims their commission to portray Chic’s Nile Rodgers for the Royal Albert Hall. The results of that project can be seen from 9pm.

SEVENTIES STAR Larry Grayson: Shut That Door!, 8pm, ITV3

MICHAEL GRADE and Janet StreetPort­er offer their memories of

Grayson in a warm profile of the much-loved host of The Generation Game, who only found fame in his 50s. The film also draws on his unpublishe­d autobiogra­phy to tell his stories in his own words.

THE big day is looming for Rachael, who drops into the Royal Preston Hospital with her fiance to talk about her Caesarean in a new episode of this sunny series. Her intended is rarely short of a joke to defuse the tension and, when you hear about her medical history, you can understand why.

STAND-UP SHOWCASE Comedy Against Living Miserably, 9pm, Dave

THIS charity night of stand-up was recorded shortly after Caroline Flack’s death, and its visibly moved host, Joel Dommett, uses that as a way to talk about grief in the opening. It’s a strong start to a night of grounded sets from Kiri Pritchard-McLean (pictured), Judi Love and John Robins.

FILM NOIR Blow The Man Down, Amazon Prime

DARK deeds lurk beneath a picture-perfect surface in a sharp U.S. noir set in a quaint fishing town. The plot concerns a murder covered up by two sisters, and a fabulously evil brothel owner (the excellent Margo Martindale).
