FREE ON DEMAND TV Apple TV+

FOR a limited time, Apple TV+ is offering some shows for free through the Apple TV app. The best of these is parallel universe space-race drama For All Mankind, while also included are grisly M. Night Shyamalan thriller Servant and the quirky teen period drama Dickinson. Children’s shows Ghostwrite­r and Snoopy In Space are also available, as is wildlife documentar­y The Elephant Queen.

ON THE MOVE Epic Animal Migrations, 8pm, Smithsonia­n

THE movements of seals, monarch butterflie­s and more are the subject of this new documentar­y. It’s full of magical sights, but especially that of huge clumps of butterflie­s hanging in the forest, waiting for spring warmth to waken them.

LAST-EVER EPISODE Arrow, 8pm, Sky One

THE conclusion of a show that launched the ‘Arrow verse’, a network of interconne­cted superhero series that includes The Flash, DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow, Supergirl and Batwoman. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) returns for the finale, in which Oliver (Stephen Amell, pictured), after his recent sacrifice, is finally at peace.

AMAZING MACHINE Impossible Engineerin­g, 8pm, Yesterday

THE penultimat­e episode takes us to the Falkirk Wheel, which lifts boats 25 metres between the Forth and Clyde and the Union Canals, to connect Glasgow and Edinburgh. It’s the only rotating boat lift in the world, and looks like something out of Westworld.

FROM THE ASHES Rebuilding Notre Dame: Inside the Great Cathedral Rescue, 9pm, BBC4

A YEAR ago today, a fire broke out at the Paris cathedral, destroying its spire and much of the roof. This new documentar­y has special access to the rebuilding efforts that have followed, and tells the inside story of the pioneering technology that’s been brought to bear on the restoratio­n.

FAMILY LIFE Ferne McCann: First Time Mum, 9pm, ITVBe

THE Only Way Is Essex star returns for a new series of the frothy reality show that charts life with her daughter, Sunday, and both mother and child are approachin­g milestones. Sunday has entered the ‘terrible twos’, while Ferne is nearing 30 — and trying to make a long-distance relationsh­ip work.

NEW COMEDY THRILLER Run, 9pm, Sky Comedy

FLEABAG’S Phoebe Waller-Bridge has joined forces with her best friend, theatre director Vicky Jones, to create this very finely acted HBO comedy thriller. Domhnall Gleeson and Merritt Wever (pictured) play two college exes who, 17 years later, reunite on a train and run away from their lives. Part one is an unpredicta­ble thrill ride.

FREEVIEW MOVIE Brassed Off, 9pm, Film4

IT’S the romance, the comedy and the brass-band music that sell this miners’ strike tale. Pete Postlethwa­ite is the band leader, with Tara Fitzgerald’s Gloria playing a different tune.

CRIME FILM Motherless Brooklyn, BT TV/Sky Store/Virgin Movies

GOOD-LOOKING and starry noir about a private eye with Tourette’s (Edward Norton, also the writerdire­ctor), who tries to solve a murder in Fifties New York.

ROUGH JUSTICE The Innocence Files, Netflix

THE personal stories behind eight cases of wrongful conviction are explored in this powerful nine-part documentar­y series from the U.S.
