Why can’t BBC give us all a bit of good news?
I FIND the reporting of the present crisis on TV, particularly by the BBC, increasingly nauseating.
Intrusive interviews with the relatives of victims and with patients and staff involved are completely unnecessary — and fuel the climate of fear to such an extent that people with other medical problems, including cancer, are scared to go to their doctors.
would it be too much to ask for the BBC to report some good news — such as the huge number of people who recover from Coronavirus — or take a leaf out of the book of Captain Tom and the Daily Mail by offering suggestions as to how the public can do something constructive to help?
