Britain’s best and worst
IT WAS heart-breaking when I came across an unfortunate individual being resuscitated by paramedics on the pavement.
what was even more shocking was a passer-by attempting to film the event, presumably to improve his ‘likes’ on social media.
One of the police officers at the scene politely and firmly asked: ‘what are you doing? If you want to film anyone, then film me, not someone dying in the street. what is wrong with you?’
The emergency services were commendable, but the smartphone owner was contemptible.
