Letter that says it all
PHONES, tablets and computers are a godsend for keeping in touch during self-isolation, but nothing touched me more than a beautifully composed letter sent by my nine-year-old granddaughter.
She told me what was going on in her everyday life, how the lockdown was affecting her and the fun she was having with her new friend, Beau the puppy.
Her message ‘I promise when this is done I will come to see you — I really miss you’ made my day.
I would encourage all children to post a proper, written letter to their grandparents. It would mean so much to them.
