-

A CHARITY worker died after being infected with Covid19 as he helped provide food parcels for the elderly.

A five-week battle with the virus left Sean Hearn, 55, pictured, with fatal organ damage. He died last Thursday at the city’s Ninewells Hospital. His son, also Sean, told the Dundee Courier: ‘His lungs and kidneys had been ravaged.’

He said what happened to the ‘fit and healthy’ grandfather, who worked for charity Food Train, highlighted the deadly threat from coronavirus.
