Safe with Sturgeon

BORIS JOhNSON looked the part when he presented us with the latest scatterbrained, and dangerous, advice on the pandemic.

In contrast, Nicola Sturgeon spoke like a stateswoman by taking charge of the safety of her country and staying in lockdown, however tough that may be.

Once again we are a divided nation. In England, we can frolic in the park, play golf and buy petunias at the garden centre, even though the shocking death toll keeps rising.

To the beleaguered NhS workers who must battle on so courageously in the face of such foolish and fatuous advice, I salute you. I will clap even louder and harder for you tonight.
