Honest granny

I WAS initially appalled at Prue Leith’s candid admission that she’s a bad granny — and refuses to feel guilty about it (Mail).

After much thought, I found her honesty refreshing. It is unusual for a celebrity to be so frank.

Guilt is corrosive and I have felt riddled with it when unable to provide free childcare for my grandchildren.

Well done, Prue, for expressing what a lot of grandparents feel unable to say openly.
