Cacophonous clap
SADLY, in my neighbourhood the weekly Clap for Carers has turned into a rowdy and inconsiderate event involving fireworks, honking car horns and nuisance-making.
There is no consideration that key workers may be sleeping before their next shift or that children and pets are being terrified.
I’m sure NHS and key workers would prefer a few minutes of dignified applause and then be able to get on with their lives in peace. Instead, it has become a weekly annoyance. NICOLA GLOVER, Bromsgrove, Worcs.
