Working from home, the prince of clutter!

-

IT has become a very modern dilemma – which personal effects to show in a video call from home...and which to clear away.

For Prince Charles, it revealed a very cluttered desk. This behind-the-scenes snap, shared on Instagram, shows Charles being interviewed by Alan Titchmarsh for Classic FM at Birkhall, his residence on the Balmoral estate.

He is surrounded by photographs of his family and rainbow paintings believed to have been done by his grandchildren. Taking pride of place on his desk are pictures of his wife Camilla and the Queen Mother.

Charles, 71, said his grandmother helped introduce him to music and the arts and chose a piano concerto he commissioned for her, which he said was ‘very dear to my heart’, for the two-part radio special, broadcast on Monday and last night.

The prince has spent lockdown working from his Scottish office, and amid the mess were neat stacks of his Clarence Housebranded stationery.
