RICHARD MACER is always a film-maker worth watching, and he’s got a great subject here: the lives of a new ‘golden generation’ of male ballet dancers (such as Steven McRae, pictured) and how the ridicule their career once attracted is fading. Among the stars he talks to is Vadim Muntagirov, a Russian sensation known as ‘Vadream’.

TOUGH negotiatio­ns is the theme for this compilatio­n as Drew Pritchard visits dealer Sam Coster in Norfolk, who is looking forward to ‘a bit of a barter with an old chum’. When Sam watches this episode, you can imagine him slapping his knee in frustratio­n over one particular deal.

FRAUD INVESTIGAT­ION McMillions, 9pm, Sky Documentar­ies

THE highlight of launch day for Sky Documentar­ies is HBO’s quietly thrilling series about an undercover FBI operation into fraud in the McDonald’s Monopoly game. Agent Doug Mathews, a man who could ‘talk to a wall and get it to respond’, tells the tale. (Sky 114)

THRILLER FINALE Run, 9pm, Sky Comedy

PHOEBE WALLER-BRIDGE’S taxidermis­t plays a key role in the finale of HBO’s thriller, which ends in a way that will frustrate some. The show’s strongest point has always been the subtle relationsh­ip between Billy and Ruby, though, and that is very much to the fore as the police circle closer, and Ruby makes a decision.
