Face the ‘FACTS’ and stay safe, says Sturgeon

-

A SAFETY campaign has been launched to remind Scots about the key advice to follow during the pandemic.

Nicola Sturgeon said that even though Covid-19 is ‘firmly in retreat’, precautions are still required.

As Scotland moves into phase two of the easing of lockdown measures this weekend, the First Minister urged people to continue to keep themselves and others safe by following the campaign’s message.

The initiative, called FACTS, is being fronted by National Clinical Director Jason Leitch.

Miss Sturgeon said: ‘We are launching a new public awareness campaign called FACTS. Each letter should serve to remind us all of the key measures that we need to comply with.

‘Face coverings in enclosed spaces. Avoid crowded places. Clean your hands and surfaces regularly. Twometre distancing. Self-isolate and book a test if you have symptoms.

‘Remember these FACTS and that will help all of us stay safe and ensure all of us protect each other.’
