NO ONE MAKES A MUG OUT OF KING KENNY... TILL NOW!

- By Stuart MacDonald

SIR Kenny Dalglish has launched his own range of merchandise inspired by the greatest moments in his career. The Liverpool and Celtic legend said he is ‘very happy’ with the exclusive branded items which went on sale for the first time this week.

The range, which includes T-shirts and mugs, is called KENN7 as a nod to the shirt number Scotland’s most capped player wore.

One T-shirt logo features the letters ‘KENN’ next to an image shaped like a ‘Y’ of Sir Kenny celebrating his goal against Club Brugge which won the 1978 European Cup for Liverpool.

Also up for grabs is a mug with the player forming a ‘Y’ followed by the initials NWA, together standing for You’ll Never Walk Alone, a favourite song with Celtic and Liverpool fans.

In a message on Twitter, Sir Kenny, 69, thanked the team involved in putting the range together.

He said: ‘Very happy with the result of the launch. Looks good.

‘You have all done a great job producing the range. Well done.’
