A CAST of junior actors is being called on to take another bow. Ian Plant from Coventry is seeking old school pals. ‘We acted in a play at Hillshott Junior School in Letchworth, Herts, in 1949,’ he wrote. ‘I played a window cleaner. ‘I moved to London and haven’t seen or heard about any of them since. ‘We’ll be in our early 80s now. It would be great to make contact after so long. ‘On leaving school at 16, I worked at Selfridges as a trainee buyer. After National Service, I enjoyed a long career in retail management.’

No thespians have been located yet, but another old chum has come forward. ‘I knew Ian in the 1950s when we were in 248 (Letchworth) Squadron, Air Training Corps,’ emails Brian Sherwood.’ We are happy to reconnect them.
