Midfielder left for Rangers in 2007. In three seasons at Ibrox, he won two Scottish titles, a Scottish Cup and two League Cups before heading for Middlesbrough. Very highly-rated, but injury restricted him to just three caps for Scotland. Transfer fee: £2m.
