Two new sex assault cases against Spacey

-

KEVIN Spacey faces a new legal battle after being sued by two men who allege he sexually assaulted them as 14-yearolds in the 1980s.

Actor Anthony Rapp, best known for his work on TV series Star Trek: Discovery, first made allegations against Spacey in October 2017, leading to the two-time Oscar winner effectively being banished from Hollywood.

In a lawsuit filed in New York this week, Rapp alleges that Spacey invited him to a party at his Manhattan apartment in 1986. While there, Rapp alleges, Spacey grabbed his buttocks. He escaped to the bathroom, it is claimed.

The second accuser, identified only as CD, alleges Spacey invited him back to his apartment, where he sexually assaulted him. They engaged in sex acts on multiple occasions and during their final encounter Spacey ignored the boy’s ‘verbal and physical resistance’, it is claimed.

Both the accusers are suing Spacey, 61, for damages, claiming the alleged attacks have caused psychological damage. He is yet to respond to the lawsuit.

Spacey has faced a wave of similar accusations in both the US and UK, but is yet to be found liable in any case.
