OXFORD: THE LAST HURRAH by Dafydd Jones (ACC Art Books £20)

STUDENTS drinking and behaving badly is not exactly breaking news — but this is Oxford University in the Eighties. Here, photographer Dafydd Jones offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the glamour and hedonism of those bright young things. Pictured are members of the university rowing team who traditionally set fire to a boat and, after a boozy dinner, jump through the flames. Also featured are Hugh Grant dressed in skimpy leopard print, a fresh-faced Boris Johnson at a ball with his first wife Allegra and Nigella Lawson being carried in a litter while playing croquet.
