Meet the frizz kid! Speed king Lewis reveals crowning glory
AFTER beating the record for Formula One wins with his 92nd victory, he’s entitled to let his hair down.
And racing champion Lewis Hamilton has done just that – showing us a rare glimpse of his frizzy crop of curls.
The 35-year-old, who normally sports cornrows, took to Instagram to show off his impressive honey-coloured bob.
He received thousands of encouraging comments and even supermodel Naomi Campbell gave praise, writing: ‘What a mane, lil bro!’
Last year, there was talk that he might have had hair transplant surgery after previously appearing to be balding.
However, he’s since insisted the thinning hair was simply a result of ‘bad hair products’.
He said last year: ‘I used to wash my hair with bath soap and genuinely anything I had at the time. Would wash it three times a day, morning, after training and at night.’
On Sunday, Hamilton tore up Michael Schumacher’s record of 91 Formula One victories with a 25-second win in the Portuguese Grand Prix.
