Trampoliners ‘should need a licence’
FAMILIES may have to jump through hoops to have a trampoline in their garden after a campaigner said they should require a licence.
In a petition to the Scottish parliament, Stacey Clarke said councils should place restrictions on the hours of usage, size and height of trampolines to protect neighbours’ privacy.
Miss Clarke wrote: ‘These trampolines, whilst a source of fun for children, have become a misery for millions of neighbours.’
MSPs agreed to raise the issue with Local Government Minister Kevin Stewart.
