India are 115-5. 9.42am: Joe Root dismisses Rishabh Pant with his first delivery. India are 117-6. 9.59am: Root dismisses Washington Sundar and Axar Patel for ducks. India are 125-8. 10.17am: Root has Ravichandr­an Ashwin caught. India are 134-9. 10.40am: Root claims a brilliant five-wicket haul for just eight runs which leaves India all out for 145 — a lead of just 33. 11am: England opener Zak Crawley is sensationa­lly bowled first ball by Patel. England are flounderin­g at 0-1. 11.03am: Jonny Bairstow is given out lbw first ball, but survives on review. Then he is bowled the next ball anyway! England are 0-2 after three balls. 11.37am: Dom Sibley is caught behind having a hack, off Patel. England are only 19-3. 12.07pm: Shortly after Root narrowly survives an lbw review, Ben Stokes is out the same way for 25. England are 50-4 with a lead of 17. 12.14pm: Root isn’t saved by review this time — he’s out lbw, to the brilliant Patel. England are 56-5. 12.37pm: Ollie Pope and Jofra Archer are dismissed in quick succession by Ashwin to leave England a desperate 68-7. 1.01pm: Ben Foakes and Leach are both out for single figures. England are 80-9 and hurtling towards a crushing defeat. 1.06pm: James Anderson is out for a duck and England are all out for 81. India need 49 to win. 2.21pm: India cruise to an emphatic victory without losing a wicket to take the Test and a 2-1 lead in the series.
