The successful applicants could also land a home on the estate, a stone’s throw from the Royal Family.

The jobs advert says: ‘A vacancy exists for two seasonal gardeners to work on Balmoral Estate.

‘Accommodation may be available. Contract runs from April to October.’

Applications should arrive no later than March 26.

The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and Prince Charles all take a keen interest in the gardens of the 50,000-acre estate, which were started under the supervision of Prince Albert.

They have since expanded to include flower gardens, rose gardens and a kitchen garden added by the Duke of Edinburgh.

successful applicants will also have their work inspected by the 70,000 visitors who visit the Castle Gardens which are open to the public each year.
