Easy for thieves

-

WHeN contactless cards were first issued in 2007, the limit was £10 for a no questions asked purchase.

The limit has progressively increased to £15, £20, £30, £45 and now a whopping £100. This is a dream come true for thieves.

I choose the limit on my credit cards, so why can’t I do the same for contactless transactions? The upper limit should suit me and my attitude to risk. RICHARD BRYANT,

Cranleigh, Surrey.
