Seize the chance

LAST week the big wide world got an eyeful of just how viscerally superglued Scottish nationalists are to the idea of independence from England when Alex Salmond launched the Alba Party in a shambolic video conference that must have had the commissars at RT cringing.

The one good thing in all this is that lists, constituencies and tactical voting are being discussed as never before. We really need the pro-UK parties to seize the opportunity to work together and explain how this can be done so the millions of people, sick and tired of nationalism, can gang up on this supermajority threat that will strangle Scotland.
