Yours for £45k: A City phone box

-

A RED phone box has gone on the market for a whopping £45,000.

The traditional kiosk has electricity and is being advertised as office space.

Located in the City of London, it is almost 100 years old and one of just 224 left in the UK. The guide price when it goes under the hammer on May 26 is £45,000. The Rightmove listing, which suggests uses including a business or advertising space, reads: ‘Own an iconic piece of British heritage in the City. Electricity is connected.’

Similar phone boxes have been turned into libraries and shops.
