Men’s yes, yes, yes to Radio 4 Woman’s Hour

- By Paul Revoir Media Editor

IT was aimed at giving women ‘top tips’ on reaching orgasm.

But many men were thankful to the Woman’s Hour item for providing them with ‘information they didn’t have before’, according to the BBC Radio 4 show’s editor.

Karen Dalziel was discussing the piece, broadcast last week, about an American study that identified four ‘previously unnamed techniques’ women use to increase sexual pleasure.

She told the audience response show Feedback: ‘It is sometimes important… for men to listen to understand what women feel about issues. We did an item last week about female orgasm and there’s some research given to women, to give some sort of top tips to reach an orgasm.

‘Many men were listening to that and were quite thankful to Woman’s Hour for giving them information they didn’t have before.’

She added: ‘On paper there’s quite a lot of equality between men and women’s lives but their lived experience is very, very different and I think we will explore that on Woman’s Hour and men’s perspective is very welcome.’
