Pathologist unable to discover Emma’s cause of death, trial told
A PATHOLOGIST could not establish how an alleged murder victim died, a court was told yesterday.
Dr John Williams carried out a post-mortem examination on the body of 39-year-old Emma Faulds.
Her remains had been discovered in Glentrool Forest in Dumfriesshire on June 12, 2019.
Dr Williams told the High Court in Glasgow that decomposition ‘limited’ what could be concluded. He said he could not be ‘definite’ as to when she died. Reading from his report he stated: ‘In summary, the medical cause of death has not been established.’ Ross Willox, 41, denies murdering Miss Faulds, pictured, at his home in Monkton, Ayrshire, on April 28, 2019, by unknown means and dumping her body. The trial, before judge Lord Mulholland, continues.
