Is Emma’s Vogue look boldly chic... or old bed sheets?
AS one of Britain’s most renowned and hard-working actresses, you could forgive Emma Thompson for enjoying a relaxing lie-in.
But it looks as though the Oscar-winner hasn’t managed to kick her bed sheets all the way off, posing in a white dress with a plunging neckline and an unusual gigantic hood.
She also hunkered down in a red tulle dress on a concrete block as London buses passed her by, while sporting a black bobbed wig. Dame Emma donned the haute couture outfits for Vogue to mark her upcoming appearance as Baroness Von Hellman in Disney’s Cruella, starring Emma Stone as the 101 Dalmatians villainess. The 62-year-old told the magazine she was keen to avoid a traditional shoot. ‘I am uncomfortable trying to look slim and fashionable because I am not, and now it’s allowed that I am not,’ she wrote to the team. ‘I fancy a bit of fun’.
